Infrared Asphalt Reclaiming is an on-site method that allows the user to reheat and therefore "reclaim" used asphalt. Reclaiming minimizes the use of new materials, thereby reducing costs while also reducing the amount of non-renewable resources that are consumed. The Ray-Tech Infrared Asphalt Repair equipment performs this process as a single pass (one phase) operation combining the recycled pavement with virgin material.
Infrared rays have the ability to penetrate material. It is this property that has enabled us to utilize infrared technology to deeply penetrate asphalt to effectively repair and reclaim it without causing damage to the asphalt.
